Gulf of Thailand: July - October 2011

From late June to early October each year, the M/V Scuba Explorer can be found in the Gulf of Thailand near Koh Samui. We offer superb accommodations and service for divers wishing to explore the most popular dive sites around Koh Tao.

Also, while the boat is transiting between the Andaman Sea and Koh Tao in late June, and again in early July, we offer a unique opportunity to dive the rarely visited dive sites of Losin and Ko Kra in the south of the Gulf of Thailand. Here, the water visibility is generally better and you have good opportunities to see schools of pelagics as well as the diver's holy grail -- whalesharks.

Koh Samui / Koh Tao
July - October 2011

From early July through early October the Scuba Explorer is cruising around the dive sites near Ko Tao in the Gulf of Thailand. It is possible to board the boat any day of the week, except Wednesday (due to the distance to Sail Rock for the morning dive) and, once you're aboard you can stay as long as you like -- from just two nights, to a week or more.

We will pick you up at your hotel in Ko Samui and transfer you to the M/V Scuba Explorer via the Seatran Discovery Express Boat. Three dives a day are included in the price of the trip, but extra optional dives are available for those who want to spend as much time underwater as possible.

Andaman Sea

From late October to mid May, the M/V Scuba Explorer can be found in the Andaman Sea -- exploring the best dive sites around Phuket: from Koh Phi Phi, Koh Haa, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang in the South, to the Similan and Surin National Marine Parks in the North, and of course, the world famous Richelieu Rock. Also, in early December and May we will be offering a Deep South Andaman Cruise diving Hin Daeng/Hin Muang and then continuing south to visit the dive sites around Koh Lipe in the Tarutao National Marine Park.
