From late October to early May, the M/V Scuba Explorer can be found in the Andaman Sea -- exploring the best dive sites around Phuket: from Koh Phi Phi, Koh Haa, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang in the South, to the Similan and Surin National Marine Parks in the North, and of course, the world famous Richelieu Rock. Many of our trips are connected, and it is often possible to continue your stay on the boat by joining on with the next scheduled cruise.

Gulf of Thailand 2010

From late June to early October each year, the M/V Scuba Explorer can be found in the Gulf of Thailand. We offer superb accommodations and service for divers wishing to explore the most popular dive sites around Koh Tao.

Also, while the boat is transiting between the Andaman Sea and Koh Tao in early late June and early July, we offer a unique opportunity to dive the rarely visited dive sites of Losin and Ko Kra in the south of the Gulf of Thailand. Here, the water visibility is generally better and you have good opportunities to see schools of pelagics as well as the diver's holy grail -- whalesharks.

Koh Samui / Koh Tao

July - October 2010

From early July through early October the Scuba Explorer is cruising around the dive sites near Ko Tao in the Gulf of Thailand. It is possible to board the boat any day of the week, except Wednesday (due to the distance to Sail Rock for the morning dive) and, once you're aboard you can stay as long as you like -- from just two nights, to a week or more.

We will pick you up at your hotel in Ko Samui and transfer you to the M/V Scuba Explorer via the Seatran Discovery Express Boat. Three dives a day are included in the price of the trip, but extra optional dives are available for those who want to spend as much time underwater as possible.

October 2010

Again, at the end of the Koh Samui/Koh Tao season, the boat moves back to the Andaman Sea. However, on the way, you'll have an extended opportunity to visit the secluded divesites around Koh Kra and Losin. We've added an extra day at Losin to increase the amount of time available to spend with the whalesharks.
