The M/V Scuba Explorer is dedicated to providing our guests with the best diving in Thailand possible. During the monsoon season (typically May to October) the ship visits the islands in the Gulf of Thailand where the weather is generally good and the seas are calmer. When the monsoons end in October, we return to the Andaman Sea and provide cruises visiting the most breathtaking dive sites in all of Thailand.

All diving trips aboard the Scuba Explorer include: 3 meals/day, plus prepared snack, 24-hour snack and beverage bar (fresh fruit, cookies, toast, drinking water, coffee, cocoa, hot tea, soda drinks), bath towels, tank, weights, professional Divemaster/Instructor.

2010-2011 Andaman Sea Cruises

For the 2010-2011 season we've decided to increase the number of trips that are connected. Most of our cruises return on the same day we depart again. And if you're looking to extend your diving holiday, you can join us for two consecutive trips with a 10% discount on each cruise. As in previous seasons, we still offer night dives as optional dives, and our famous BBQ Party on the last night of the cruise. The Similan/Surin Cruise is still our main offering. Departing at night, and returning in the morning, you'll get 12 dives at some of the best sites in the Similan and Surin National Parks, as well as Richelieu Rock, Ko Tachai, and Ko Bon. Other activities include fireworks, a beach visit, and of course, our BBQ Party.

The Extended Similan/Surin Cruise is the same as the above cruise except that it has been lengthened by an extra day. The extra day will be a slightly more relaxed diving day, with only 3 day dives and an optional night dive. However, this will allow us to visit and spend some time in the remote Surin National Marine Park. We are also hoping that the extra day will give us more schedule flexibility and increase the chances of being in the right place at the right time to see larger fish like sharks and rays, and hopefully, mantas and whale sharks.

The Hin Daeng/Hin Muang-Phi Phi Cruise visits sites in the south Andaman Sea. Places like the caves at Koh Haa, the great underwater ridge of Hin Muang, Hin Daeng -- the Richelieu Rock of the South, as well as other sites like Koh Rok, the Bidas at Koh Phi Phi, and Shark Point. We've included an additional night on board to add an extra dive, help cut down on customer hotel expenses, and to have a BBQ Party! You'll find that most of the Hin Daeng/Hin Muang-Phi Phi trips are connected to a Similan/Surin cruise to easily continue your diving holiday, and giving you a free day on Phuket to explore, without having to worry about booking a hotel.
